This postcard should be sent in springtime. But I was in the Southern Hemisphere. It arrived in wintertime. Azalea is th flower of my university and usually bloom in early March. Huang bought this at the fair of Azalea and sent in midsummer. Although the flower dropped, the friendship is lasting.

這張應該在春天寄來的。但是我在南半球，所以是冬天收到的。杜鵑花是我大學的校花，通常都在陽春三月綻放。黃在杜鵑花節時買的而到仲夏才寄來。雖花以謝，但友誼仍隨明信片飛至。

Miss Chen spent her holiday in China again.

It seems that she has already been to China several times and her travel preference is  wildness and frontier. Where she goes is still popular tourism places though. Because I read some articles about Lijiang in geography magazines, and I learned Chinese music, I know Nakhi unique culture is a treasure of the world. Every person enjoys different things in travel. This interesting culture may make someone feel bored and old-fashion. However, I always have a open mind to feel the taste of every trip.

陳君又去中國玩了，總覺得他好像去了很多次。

而且他好像比較愛曠野邊疆那味，但他去的還是多屬熱門地區就是了。我曾經在地理雜誌上看過麗江的介紹，也因為學習民族音樂而知納西族人獨特的文化，是世界的瑰寶。每個人在旅遊中觀察的重點都不太一樣，這些異文化的趣味，也有人覺得沉悶、古板。而我總是以開放的心，體會每段旅程不同的況味。

I had no idea about Chang's trip to Japan. But after sending a few postcards from Australia, I got this in autumn. She wrote that compare with real photo, she likes painting postcard more. She had affections towards the works of this painter. Well, I have no Tokyo scene, but Chang's feelings.

我一點也不小的張去了日本。但是在從澳洲寄出一些明信片後，我在秋天收到了這個。他寫到：比起寫真照片，他比較喜歡畫畫的明信片。他和這位畫家的作品有共鳴。嗯，我沒有東京的景致，卻得到了張的感受。

Postcard Year, Lonely Year 2006 / 寂寞的一年，明信片的一年 2006

2006年，我自己一個人在澳洲生活，寄了許多明信片給臺灣的好友們。一個人生活並不困難，但是偶有孤獨之感。然而排遣孤獨不一定需要好友相伴，寫寫明信片分享旅遊時的所見所聞也是一種抒發。短短的隻紙片語，雖不知收到的人是否天涯共此時，但是可以假裝海外存知己。好朋友有時是聽他講，有時是講給他聽。而旅遊風景明信片，又總在愉快的時光中寄出，總覺得已經不負這些收信人。

至於是否真的是知己呢？在單方面吐露完心事後，可以再聽到這些人的故事，非常謝謝大家！

In 2006, I lived alone in Australia, and sent a lot of postcards to friends in Taiwan. Living alone is not difficult, but sometimes makes me feel lonely. To solve this problem, a companion is not always necessary, however. Writing postcards to share some experiences in travel is also a good expression. A piece of paper is probably not able to make the receiver to know the feelings, but I pretend they are my true friends and do know me. A good frineds is sometimes a listeners, and sometimes I listen to him/her. Travel postcards are always sent at happy moment. So I think I make them feel good.

Well, are all receivers really good friends? After my one-way expression, I can get all these postcards. I have to say thank you very much to all!!

My last postcard in 2005.  I got a postcard each month from July to September. Chen said she did ride a camel, but did not see the desert. Desert looks surely beautiful, but it is hard for living. For a tourist, it is not easy to understand how tough it is.

2005最後一張明信片。從七月到九月，每個月各收到一張。陳說：他有騎駱駝，但是沒有看到沙漠。沙漠確實美麗，但是在那生活倒是困難。對觀光客而言，要了解生活的困頓，並不容易。

Does this looks like Shangri-La? Look at the smooth surface of the lake. It is Rawo Tso Lake in Tibet. Kuo and Chang traveled in Tibet before they started their internship. Instead of some tribe people postcards, they sent this to me. Shangri-La is a mystery of human beings. Maybe no one is there in the real Shangri-La. But Tibet must be a good place to visit before they start to explore in the medical world.

這張看起來有像香格里拉嗎？看看這平靜的湖面。這是西藏的然烏堰塞湖。郭和張在他們開始實習前，去西藏旅遊。他們寄了這張給我而不是一些部落人民的明信片。香格里拉是人類的一個迷，或許真正的香格里拉裡一個人都沒有。但是在他們展開探索醫學的世界前，西藏真的是個旅遊的好地方。

Miss Ts'ai is a hard-working student. She went to summer school in Toronto a year later than me. She asked me some questions before going. So I guess this postcard is my reward. The words in the postcard showed her diligence and impressed me again. Of course, it is printed in Canada; it is biligual.

蔡同學是個很認真的學生。他在我去多倫多後一年也去了。之前他問了我一些問題，所以我想這張明信片是我的回報吧。他的文字所展現的勤奮又再次讓我印象深刻。當然，這張加拿大印製的明信片，解說同樣也是雙語。

Bonjour de Paris. Europe, my dream travel destination. Postgraduate school classmate Miss Ko visited her undergraduate classmate, who was doing her exchange study, in the Netherlands in winter vacation. She sent this iconic postcard of Paris to me and promised me to show her pictures to me after her  tour. But I have not seen anyone yet.

During the two-month summer school in Canada, I went to Niagara Falls twice. Living in canada is so relaxing. Niagara Falls is a beautiful tourism spot and a very popular place for honey moon. I bought this postcard in the Niagara Parks. Because it is a government agency, all publication are biligual. So is this postcard.

在加拿大遊學的兩個月，去了兩次尼加拉瀑布。兩個月的加拿大生活，很愜意。尼加拉瀑布是個美麗的旅遊景點，也是很熱門的蜜月地點。這張在加拿大省立公園買的明信片有英法兩種語言的對照解說。

This year, TMC friends divided into two groups. My group went to Kinmen, an island of Taiwan, and the other gourp, the richer one, went to Japan. They wrote this to me on the train to Nara. I believe they had a very good time in Osaka. Look at that beautiful Osaka Castle.

這一年，TMC的朋友分成兩團。我這團外島團，去了金門，另一團比較有錢的呢，則去了日本。日本團在往奈良的火車上，寫了這張卡片給我。我相信他們在大阪過得很愉快。看這張明信片裡完整的大阪城，可美的呢！

短短不到五十個字，不過有六個人的簽名，明信片能承載的問候，也是很有感情的。

My first postcard is from New Zealand. In 2001, while we just finished our first year in the university,  two of TMC friends went to New Zealand for summer school. Both of them wrote a short msessage to me, and made me think again who I am.

我的第一張明信片來自於紐西蘭。2001年，我們過完大一的暑假。兩位TMC的朋友，去紐西蘭遊學。在同一張卡片上各寫了一段話給我。

結交朋友有諸多好處，有時候可以從別人口中認識自己，不過當朋友說出了有趣的見解時，也會讓自己重新省思到底落差在那？所謂孟子云：聞過則喜。另一方面，霧裡看花，圓仔花被看成喇叭花，也是令人莞爾。
